City Palace :-  City Palace is located at Karauli City in the state of Rajasthan. This palace was constructed in the 14th century and is famous for its classic paintings, stone carvings, architecture and lattice works. Moreover, the 600 year old artwork is still evident in the Darbaar Hall that also contains old pictures of the palace.Till 1938, the palace remained the official residence of the royal family. After the construction of the Bhanwar Vilas Palace, the royal family shifted from this palace. Although the old palace was constructed in the 14th century, the present City Palace that is ornamented with stucco work and frescoes dates from the 18th century.The big hall is equipped with all the basic facilities and was used by the royals to meet the commons. In addition to this, this hall was also used as a venue to solve the issues related to general administration and welfare.

Ramathra Fort :- Ramathra Fort is situated in Sapotra in the Karauli District of Rajasthan. The fort is located between Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur and Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Sawai Madhopur. At a distance of 15 km from the fort is located Keladevi Wildlife Sanctuary. Within its premises, the attraction contains the fort, the lake and countryside.Maharaja of Karauli granted the fort as jagir (fiefdom) in 1645 AD to Thakur Bhoj Pal, his son. The fort is currently managed by Thakur Brijendra Raj Pal and his family. Within the fort lie Ganesh Mandir and Shiva Mandir that houses a marble idol of Lord Shiva displaying the craftsmanship of the early 18th century.From the fort, tourists can enjoy the views of the farmland, rugged scrub of the Daang Plateau, Kalisil Lake and its irrigation canal. The lake is visited by numerous water birds from the nearby Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Owing to its location in part of a green farming belt in the Kalisil River Valley, the area around the fort abounds with greenery.

Bhanwar Vilas Palace :- Bhanwar Vilas Palace was built in the late 1930s for the ruler of Karauli, Maharaja Ganesh Pal Deo Bhadur. The palace was meant to serve as a royal residence for the king. The interior of the palace has been designed in the colonial style with art-de-decor period furniture. The palace was constructed by Maharaja Ganesh Pal Deo Bhadur in 1938.Although the palace has now been converted into a heritage hotel, it still contains its original 80 years old furniture.

Kaila Devi Temple :- Kaila Devi Temple, located at the distance of 23 km from the Karauli, is considered as one of the 9 Shakti Peethas of Goddess Durga. The temple is believed to have been built in 1100 AD and is dedicated to Shri Kaila Devi Ji.On the eve of 15 days long Chaitra Navratra, a large number of devotees visit the temple, especially from Eastern Rajasthan, M.P. and U.P. Apart from this, tourists can also visit the Bhairon and Hanuman Temples situated in the vicinity of the Kaila Devi Temple.

Madan Mohanji Temple :- Madan Mohanji Temple is located at Karauli Fort in the city of Karauli. This temple is dedicated to Madan Mohanji, a deity of Lord Krishna and was constructed by Maharaja Gopal Singh.Pilgrims can see the 3 ft and 2 ft high statues of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha, respectively, in the temple. The common belief is that after conquering the battle of Daultabad, Maharaja Gopal Singh dreamt that Lord Krishna wanted him to enshrinehis idol at a temple in Karauli by bringing it from Amer.The temple showcases the architecture of mediaeval age as is constructed using Karauli Stone. Moreover, many pictures can be seen thrown on the circumambulatory path around the Garbhagriha. The spacious Jagmohan, the sanctum sanctorum and the open chowk also display the architectural beauty of the temple.Tourists can take part in all the festivals celebrated in the temple. These festivals are associated with Radha and Krishna, and mainly include Janmasthmi, Radha Asthmi, Gopasthmi, and Hindola. Moreover, on every Amavasya, a fair is arranged for the local people as well as tourists. In addition, tourists can also visit a number of small temples located in the vicinity of this temple that display their beauty in the moonlit night.

Timangarh Fort :- Timangarh Fort is located in proximity of Karauli, in the Masalpur sub-tehsil. According to historians, the fort was built in 1100 AD but was destroyed soon after by an attack. In 1244 AD, Yaduvanshi Raja Timanpal, the scion of Vijay Pal, reconstructed the fort.It is believed that there are ancient ashtadhatu as well as stone idols and sculptures hidden under the temples of the fort complex. Visitors can also see the religious, geometrical and flower patterned carvings on the rooftops and pillars of the temples. These pillars are also adorned with carvings of several gods and goddesses.Ancient records discovered at the site corroborate the belief that the fort was occupied by Mohammad Gouri's forces from 1196 to 1244 AD.  There is a Sagar Lake at the side of the fort, which is believed to have a Paras stone at its bottom.

Kalyanji Temple :-  Kalyanji Temple is situated in the city of Karauli, which was initially known by the name Kalyanpuri. This name was derived from the deity Kalyanji, which corroborates the belief that the temple belonging to this deity is one of the important temples of the region.The temple is believed to have been constructed 200 years ago by Maharaja Gopal Singh.It showcases the traditional style of architecture and contains the idol of the deity in the main hall. Moreover, it is believed that the temple guides the force for the welfare and development of the city.

Amargarh Fort :- Amargarh Fort is located on a hill top in the village of Amargarh in Rajasthan. This 250 years old fort was built under the supervision of Raja Amar Mal, after whom it was named. Keladevi Wildlife Sanctuary :-  Keladevi Wildlife Sanctuary is an extension of the Ranthambore National Park and is spread in an area of 676.40 sq. km. At the western tip of the sanctuary, tourists can see River Banas, whereas at the south-east River Chambal flows. This sanctuary is surrounded by natural beauty and is named after the Keladevi Temple. Tourists visiting the sanctuary can also see the high hills in the interiors along with the dense forests.Moreover, tourists can also catch sight of several khos such as chirmul, ghanteshwar and khadi in the sanctuary. This sanctuary is house for many animals including chinkara, wild boar and jackal. Apart from these, tiger, leopard, sloth bear, hyena, wolf and sambhar are some of the other animals seen in the sanctuary.

Shri Mahavir Ji Temple :-Shri Mahavir Ji Temple is located in the village named Chandangaon of Karauli District in the state of Rajasthan. Several years ago, sand stone statue of Lord Mahavir was extracted from the soil of the village in which it is situated. This 78 cm high idol is copper coloured and is in the Padmasana posture.
