The Lodurva Jain Temple is located 16 kms away from the Jaisalmer city. Lodurva, the ancient capital city of Bhatti Rajputs was once
a flourishing city but lost most of the splendor when the Bhattis shifted their capital to Jaisalmer. Nakoda is a major tourists attraction due to the age old ruined Jain temples. The most mesmerizing experience will be the peacock dance amid exotic Lodurva ruins.

The Jain temples are made of bright yellow sandstones. Though in ruins, the splendors of these Jain temples are clearly visible. The walls of these temples are beautifully adorned with the images of Lord Parsvanath, the 23rd Jain Tirthankar. A splendid and dominating arch greets at the main temple entrance which is typical of the Dilwara style of temple architecture. Lodurva happens to be the ancient capital of the Bhattis Rajputs and which once was a flourishing city filled with splendor until they moved capital to Jaisalmer.

Lodurva Jain temples are just 8 kms away from Jaisalmer railway station, about 10 km from Jaisalmer airport. It is well connected by road to Jaisalmer. Tourists can easily find Private taxi,cab, auto rickshaw buses to reach the destination.
